Privacy Policy

Effective July 17, 2026

Overview

DealBid (“DealBid,” “we,” “us”) is a marketing and bidding facilitation tool for wholesale real estate. This policy explains what we collect, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It describes what the product actually does. DealBid never handles money, contracts, escrow, or title, so we do not collect bank account details, and we never see your card number.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, time zone, company logo, bio, and website if you add them.
  • Listing data: the property details you publish, including address, photos, uploaded documents, asking price, repair estimates, and after-repair value.
  • Bid data: the bids you place, their amounts, and their timestamps. Bid amounts are private to the wholesaler running the auction. Other buyers never see your bid amount or your name.
  • Buyer contacts uploaded by wholesalers: if you are a wholesaler, you can add or import your buyer list (name, email, phone, buyer type, notes). You are responsible for having the right to share those contacts with us, and for the accuracy of what you upload. We use that data only to operate your invitations and your buyer network - never to market to your buyers on our own behalf, and never to share your list with another wholesaler.
  • Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser and device information, and error reports, used to operate, secure, and debug the service.

How we use information

To provide and operate the platform, run auctions, deliver invitations and transactional notifications (invites, outbid alerts, auction results, and the winner handoff), process auction fees, keep the service secure, debug problems, and measure our advertising where you have consented to it.

Advertising and the pixel

We use our advertising partner’s pixel to measure our advertising. It records PageView when a page loads, Lead when a signup completes, and StartedAuction when a wholesaler publishes an auction, and it sends that activity, along with your IP address and browser information, to our advertising partner.

The pixel is loaded site-wide, not only on our marketing pages. It does not receive bid amounts, buyer lists, or document contents.

The pixel does not load at all until you accept cookies.

If you decline, or simply never choose, the pixel script is never requested and no events are sent. You can change your mind at any time below.

Your privacy choices

Interest-based advertising opt-outs

The control above is the direct way to stop the advertising pixel on DealBid, and, as described above, the pixel does not load at all unless you accept cookies. Interest-based advertising is run by many companies beyond us, and there are standard, industry-wide tools you can use to opt out of it more broadly:

  • the ad-industry choice pages run by the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org, which let you opt out of many participating advertisers at once;
  • your browser’s own settings, which can block or clear cookies and, in some browsers, send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to the sites you visit;
  • your mobile device’s advertising settings, which let you reset or limit the advertising identifier your phone shares with apps.

These tools are operated by other companies and platforms, not by DealBid, and they generally work by storing their own cookie or signal in your browser or on your device, so you may need to set them again if you switch browsers, use another device, or clear cookies. They apply to advertising broadly and are separate from the DealBid control above.

Cookies

  • Authentication cookies (essential): set by our infrastructure provider to keep you signed in. Without them the service cannot work.
  • Consent cookie (essential): remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. It stores only “accepted” or “declined.”
  • Advertising cookies (optional): set by the advertising pixel only after you accept.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers only as needed to operate DealBid: hosting and infrastructure providers that store our data and serve the site, a payment processor that handles auction fees (your card details go directly to the processor; we never see or store your card number), email delivery, error and uptime monitoring, and mapping and property data services that receive the address being looked up.

If you accept cookies, we also share limited usage data with an advertising partner to measure our ads. See the cookies section and Your Privacy Choices above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If DealBid is ever acquired, account data may transfer as part of that transaction.

What other users can see

Your listings are visible only to the buyers a wholesaler invites. DealBid is not an open marketplace. A public company page shows only a wholesaler’s business name, logo, bio, website, and aggregate activity - never listings, prices, or bids. Buyers never see another buyer’s bid amount or identity in any auction format. Wholesalers see the bids and contact details of buyers who bid on their own listings.

Data retention

We keep account, listing, and bid data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards where we need it for legal, accounting, tax, or dispute purposes. Auction and bid records are kept as a record of what happened. Backups are retained on a rolling basis and are deleted on their own schedule, so deleted data can persist in backups for a period after removal.

Security

Access to data is enforced on our servers, not just in the interface. Bid amounts are stored where only the wholesaler running the auction and our servers can read them. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can access and update most of your information in your profile settings. To request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account, email rashad@dealbid.io. We will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to keep some records after deletion where the law requires it, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

California privacy rights (CCPA and CPRA)

DealBid is operated from California. If you are a California resident, this section applies to you.

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); commercial information (auctions run, bids placed, fees paid); internet or network activity (pages viewed, events measured by the advertising pixel once you consent); geolocation only to the extent an address you enter reveals it; and professional information (business name, buyer type). We collect these from you directly, from your use of the service, and from the buyer lists wholesalers upload. We use them for the purposes described above and keep them as described under Data retention.

Your rights: you have the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to request a copy, to request correction, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Use the email address above.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. However, using the advertising pixel for advertising measurement can amount to sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as California law defines it. We treat it that way rather than argue otherwise, so we make advertising cookies opt-in and give you a standing control to turn them off: see Your privacy choices above, which is our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism. We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Other US state privacy rights

A number of other US states have comprehensive privacy laws that give their residents rights similar to California’s. If you live in a state with such a law, then to the extent it applies to you, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to it or a copy of it, to request that we correct it, and to request that we delete it. We extend these rights to residents of those states.

To make a request, email rashad@dealbid.io. As with any request, we may need to verify your identity before we act, and we may need to keep some records after deletion where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we treat our use of the advertising pixel as sharing for advertising, which you can switch off at any time through Your privacy choices above.

Children

DealBid is a business tool for real estate professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and notify account holders by email or in-app notice.
